The first two campus meetings are:

For Full time students (100%)
Week 36: Sports Science MA, Master degree project, 30 credits
Start: 10:00 3rd of September
Ends: 15:00 4th of September

For Part time students (50%)
Week 42: Sports Science MA, Testing Methods and Performance Analysis, 7.5 credits
Start: 10:00 18th of October
End: 14:30 20th of October

Schedule
Four weeks before the beginning of the course you will get access to your schedule www.miun.se/schemasok. Please note that the timetable may be updated until the beginning of the course and even after that if something unforeseen happens.

Before you can begin your studies, there are three things you need to do
1. Get a login for the student portal (Swedish: Studentportalen)
If you are an international student and admitted to a campus-based program, you will receive your User ID upon arrival at Mid Sweden University. All international students who are admitted to a distance education program, will receive their User ID by email approximately one week before course start.

This is your most important tool during your studies at Mid Sweden University. Here, you will find information about courses, study material etc. This is also where you register for each course. All of this can be found at www.miun.se/admitted.

Please note:
If you have studied at Mid Sweden University before, you will keep the same student login and user id.

2. Read through the current course syllabus

In the course syllabus, there is information about the course literature and other important things about the course for both teachers and students.

3. Register for the course

You must register for all of the courses you want to take during the semester. You do this in the Student Portal by clicking on the link “My Studies”, and then “Register on course”. You can register no earlier than two working days before the beginning of the course. It is important that you register for each course.

Programme information
The programme contains five courses, which are:
Testing Methods and Performance Analysis, 7.5 credits
Sports Physiology II, 7.5 credits
Coaching, Leadership and Organisation, 7.5 credits
Training Sciences focused on Selected Sports, 7.5 credits
Master degree project, 30 credits

All courses have obligatory campus meetings that must be completed to full fill the course requirements.

The Library
In order to borrow at Mid Sweden University you need a library account. You get a library account when you activate your student portal login, register to a course and approve of the library lending rules. It takes about an hour after your activation before the library account is made. Use your student portal login to borrow and reserve books and to access the services of the library from home.
