Please note that we can only offer writing support on texts written in Swedish.

If you need help writing academic text, you can get it from the Mid Sweden University writing tutor. The tutoring is intended for helping you to further develop your writing and should therefore be considered as a complement to the support given by teachers and thesis advisors (rather than a quick fix for writing assignments). We offer tutoring sessions individually or in pairs. Tutoring of distance education students is primarily conducted via Zoom. Book a tutoring session through the calender att the bottom of the page.

We can help you with:

• finding a suitable academic style (avoiding colloquialisms or unnecessarily complicated language).

• sorting out language matters regarding for example grammar and punctuation.

• forming coherent sentences and paragraphs.

What we cannot help you with:

• Feedback on topic or content.

• Proofreading or corrections of the text.

Monday–Friday during term at 13.00–14.30 there is an open writing tutoring drop-in at the University Library on both campuses, in the Studieverkstad.

As a student you can book a session with with a language tutor either on campus or via Zoom by clicking the button below and find a suitable time in the writing tutors' calenders (in Swedish only). Time slots are bookable two weeks ahead.
