Introduction Days
During the Introduction Days, you will get a lot of useful information from the university staff about your upcoming studies. You will also get the chance to get to know your future classmates a bit better.
Moving to a new country with an unfamiliar language, culture and customs can be a challenge. We would like to help you and ease that challenge so that you can focus on your studies. Therefore, we would like to offer you the possibility to take part in our Introduction Days 24 - 26 August.
Introduction Days Programme
Date: 24-26 August. (A hybrid programme with digitial information sessions on zoom in the mornings and meetings on campus in the afternoon).
Introduction Programme
We have planned a hybrid Introduction starting with digital sessions on zoom followed by on campus meetings. We will give you an introduction to Mid Sweden University. You will have the chance to get to know more about studies in Sweden, student life at Mid Sweden University and ask questions. Social activities will be organised by the Student Union.
Day 1: 24th August
09:00-12:00 Zoom: Important information from the university (link will be distributed via email)
13:00-14:00 Campus: Light lunch at Grönborgs Sundsvall and Cultum Östersund. (N.B. only for students who have registered for this).
14:00-15:30 Campus: Introduction to the campus (meet outside Grönborgs Sundsvall and Cultum Östersund)
Day 2: 25th August
09:00-11:00 Zoom: Important information from the university (link will be distributed via email)
12:00-12:30 Campus: Introduction to the campus
12:30-14:00 Campus: Light lunch (N.B. only for students who have registered for this).
Day 3: 26th August
09:00-09:30 Zoom: Important information from the university (link will be distributed via email)
09:30 – 11:30: Individual schedule depending on what courses/programme you are taking. More information will follow.
Please attend
We strongly recommend that all fully admitted students attend the Introduction Days. We will send out zoom links to all fully admitted students via email. If you are an admitted student and have not received your zoom link by Monday the 21st August, please contact us on internationaloffice@miun.se.
Lunches 24th and 25th August
The university will provide a light lunch for those students who have registered for this previously. (Registration closed 7th August). If you have not registered for the lunches, but would still like to eat on campus there are canteens open on both campuses.
