Visit from Vellore Institute of Technology in India
Last Friday, researchers from the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in India paid a visit to Mid Sweden University and the STC Research Centre. Their European tour aimed to establish new partnerships in education and research, and one of their destinations was Mid Sweden University in Sundsvall.
Mid Sweden University rewards high school work
Every spring, Mid Sweden University organizes an essay competition for high school students in Sundsvall. A total of three high schools participated: Klara Teoretiska Gymnasium, Skvaderns gymnasiumskola and Sundsvalls gymnasium Västermalm, and now the winners have been announced.

On Wednesday 24 May, a seminar on AI for growth was arranged in Östersund, where experts discussed the role of AI in everyday life and the business world. With engaging presentations and panel discussions, both the potential and challenges of AI to create business opportunities and social development.
