Geographically, Mid Sweden University is located in the middle of Sweden, right at the heart of Northern Europe.
The capital of Sweden is Stockholm. Mid Sweden University has two campuses, in Sundsvall and in Östersund.
Sundsvall is located about 400 kilometres north of Stockholm, and Östersund is situated about 180 kilometres to the northwest of Sundsvall, about 550 kilometres north of Stockholm.
