Reading impairment
University students with a reading impairment can borrow course literature in alternative formats.
Distance education students
If you are a distance education student and live outside our two campus towns, Östersund and Sundsvall, you can get books sent to your address.
Self-service at the library
Self-service mean that the library will be open for self-service, providing access to the premises even when the information desk is not staffed.
Can't find what you're looking for?
Do you need materials that are not available in our collections? In that case, we'll do our best to acquire the materials for you, either by purchasing them or borrowing from another library.

Opening of the exhibition "Cartography of the Body"
Mid Sweden University will host the Polar Law Symposium 2024 on 23–25 September. In connection with the conference, the research network Båskoes is arranging an art opening at the University Library in Östersund, where the exhibition "The Cartography of the Body" is shown, with a focus on the drawn map as a means of power and the right to define a place.
