Research Day

Once a year all the researchers from Mid Sweden University working with a gender perspective are invited by the FGV to participate in a Research Day. Every third year the Research Day takes the form of an open day for popular science called the Gender Marathon.

Gena Seminar

The FGV organises a Gena seminar. It is in the form of an advanced level seminar in which texts written by the participants (mainly postgraduate students, but also researchers) are discussed.

Challenging Gender (CG) Seminar

In addition to the Gena Seminars, the FGV also organises Challenging Gender seminars, which is also the name of the major research programme that we and researchers from Umeå University participate in. The sub-theme that is the main focus of the Mid Sweden University seminars is called Challenging Normalization Processes.

The seminars are open to everyone that is interested. Information about them is given on the homepage and via a mailing list. A videoconference link between the three Mid Sweden University campuses is provided for most of the seminars.
