Kajsa Falasca
Bakgrund
Jag disputerade med avhandlingen 'Context matters. Interactions between news media, political actors and citizens in elections and crises' våren 2015. Den studerade den politiska kommunikationens både under finanskris och valkampanjer med ett särskilt fokus på mediernas bevakning av politik, politikens medialisering, mediernas effekter i opinionsbildningen och utvecklingen av strategisk politisk kommunikation.
Forskningsområden
Mitt forskningsintresse ligger i den politiska kommunikationens utveckling i den moderna demokratin. Inom ramen för detta ligger mitt främsta fokus på strategisk politisk kommunikation. I min forskning har jag även studerat mediernas rapportering om politik samt mediernas effekter och inflytande i opinionsbildning.
Undervisning
Jag undervisar på Master by Research programmet, Journalistprogrammet och Info PR-programmet med fokus på strategisk politisk kommunikation och vetenskaplig metod.
