Current research

I am currently working in the project “Morphology studies on future biocomposite” where a fundamental study is ongoing to understand how cellulose nanofibrils (CNF) and graphene or nanographite build up the structure of this strong and functional biocomposite.
In supercapacitors, the electrodes can be made of graphene/nanographite and a binder. CNF has shown promising results as a binder since both the wet and dry strength was improved while the electronic properties was maintained or even improved. Therefore it is of interest to investigate how the ion mobility is related to the amount of CNF in the electrode. Another part of my research is to study how the CNF is stabilizing the graphite dispersion.
