The Mid Sweden International Network for Gender Studies (MING)
The MING network started 2009 and will now continue with a slightly different focus. From now on the focus will be more specified to research on gender, “race”/ethnicity and class in the context of the neoliberal welfare state, closly connected to the NW-project: "Normalization and the neoliberal welfare state. Challenges of and for gender theory" - read more here.
The objective of the MING network is:
1. to constitute a creative interdisciplinary meeting place in order to improve and develop knowledge in this area of research.
2. to strengthening internationalisation for the nodes and members of the network.
3. to create a space for closer collaboration in creating knowledge and cross disciplinary research, finding ways of publication, as well as to identify funding opportunities to guarantee future research and cooperation.
