Hossam Farag
Background
Hossam Farag received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Aswan University, Egypt in 2012 and 2015, respectively. From 2012 to 2016, he was working as a teaching assistant at Aswan University. Currently, he is a PhD student at Mid Sweden University. During his Master studies, he has published 5 conference papers and 1 journal article. His research interest includes Wireless Communications, Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks, and Cognitive Radio systems.
Current research
Hossam's current research activity mainly focuses on reliable and deterministic wireless sensor networks communications. In particular, his research aims to develop techniques and methods to provide predictable and reliable wireless communication for time- and mission-critical application in industrial wireless sensor networks.
