Ny administrativ projektledare vid FSCN
Katarina Eriksson är ny administrativ projektledare vid FSCN research centre. Hon kommer att driva och koordinera forskningsprojekt ihop med forskningsledarna.
Sports Tech Research Centre is a multidisciplinary research centre with a focus on applied science within the field of sports and product development. The centre works closely with partners in different fields, from hospitals and outdoor manufacturers to international engineering industries.
Sports Tech Research Centre is a multidisciplinary research centre with a focus on applied science within the field of sports engineering and product development. The research of the centre is primarily within innovative development of and verification of products, material, technology and methods in the field of sports and outdoor activities, but also in rehabilitation support and equipment for the special needs of the disabled.
Another part of the centre’s activities is within the area of additive manufacturing (3D printing), in areas such as medical applications and material/process development.

Over a period of four years, Mid Sweden University will lead a large research programme that will look into the effects of sports and outdoor recreation on the environment and nature. The Foundation for Strategic Environmental Research, Mistra, will grant the programme SEK 56 Million. The long-term aim of the programme is to make Sweden the global leader in this field.
During August 16-18 Andrey Koptyug from the Additive Manufacturing Group at Sports Tech Research Centre was representing Sweden at the International Forum "3D Printing and Intelligent Manufacturing" held by Shanghai Additive Manufacturing Society (SAMA) in Shanghai, China.
