Borrow and order

As a student or employee of Mid Sweden University, you use your student portal login to borrow and reserve printed books and to access our electronic material. As a distance education student you can get your loans sent home to your address.

But, you do not have to belong to Mid Sweden University to borrow books from us. Everyone who is over 18 and has a valid ID is welcome to open a library account with us. You will then have access to our printed material and our premises. We also have some computers that are open to the public where you can search and read our electronic media.

All our media, printed as well as electronic, can be searched via our search tool Primo. You use My account, to keep track of your return dates and reservations and see your contact information.

If you need material which is not available from us, we can either acquire it or help you borrow it from another library through interlibrary loans.
