Why study a Master's programme at Mid Sweden University?

Here’s five good reasons:

1. Close to research and industry

Our Master's programmes are research-oriented with a strong connection to world-class research environments. They also collaborate closely with the industry, which will give you a competitive edge on the global market. For instance, you will work in real research projects together with senior researchers, and often with our partner companies.

2. Inspiring study environment

At the university, we have first-class facilities and high tech equipment. Campus Sundsvall has lovely scenery, with leafy trees and a beautiful promenade along the river. “Åkroken” – the heart of the campus – was built in the 1990s as a city within the city, with alleys and squares, bridges and landing-stages.

3. Committed teachers

Our classes are small with accessible staff, creating a personal and caring environment. The teachers care about your individual development and will support and coach you. Our students appreciate the informality of the contact with teachers and staff.

4. Ideal campus location

Campus Sundsvall is situated a short walk from the city centre, which is called Stenstan (the stone city). It is known for its beautiful late 19th century stone houses in Neo-Renaissance style. The campus is also close to breathtaking nature with ski slopes, tracks and beautiful walks.

5. Student housing guarantee

As a student, you don't have to worry about where to live. We have a housing guarantee. Many of the dorms and apartments are situated near the campus.
