As a student from a foreign country you probably want to learn about the Swedish language, culture and society. We offer a basic Swedish Language course for international students. This course aims to providing an introduction to Swedish language, as well as to the Swedish culture and society.
The course
This course focus on oral proficiency and are designed to help the students acquire basic proficiency in Swedish. The aim is that the student should be able to use Swedish in everyday situations. During the course, we will also focus on the culture and society so the student will acquire a basic knowledge about Sweden.
We offer this course on two campuses: Sundsvall and Östersund. Teaching comprises for example lectures, lessons, group exercises. At the end of the course, there will be exams and the oral proficiency will be continuously assessed during the lessons.
Application
The course is intended for international students studying at Mid Sweden University. International students registered on a course/programme at Mid Sweden University can apply for the courses. Contact the International Relations Office for more information.
