Our Campuses
Geographically, Mid Sweden University is located in the middle of Sweden, right at the heart of Northern Europe. Mid Sweden University has three campuses: Härnösand, Sundsvall and Östersund. They differ in character and partially in the course programmes offered.
Campus Härnösand
The city Härnösand, with approximately 25 000 inhabitants, is located about 450 kilometres north of Stockholm. It is one of the oldest centres of higher education in Sweden. The primary fields of study at Campus Härnösand are Education and the Humanities.

Campus Sundsvall
The city Sundsvall is located about 400 kilometres north of Stockholm and with its approximately 96 000 inhabitants, it is one of the biggest cities in Northern Sweden. The main educational focus at Campus Sundsvall lies within the Natural Sciences, Technology, and Media, but it is also possible to study within the areas of Social Sciences and Health Sciences.

The city Östersund, with approximately 60 000 inhabitants, is located about 180 kilometres to the northwest of Sundsvall. The main educational focus at Campus Östersund lies within the Social Sciences, the Natural Sciences and Technology. Courses are also offered within Health Sciences and Social Work.
