Learn Swedish

As a student from a foreign country you probably want to learn about the Swedish language, culture and society. We offer you the course Swedish Language, Swedish for foreign students I during the spring semester of 2019. The courses aim at providing an introduction to Swedish language and literature, as well as to the Swedish culture and society.

The course

The courses focus on oral proficiency and are designed to help the students acquire basic proficiency in Swedish. The aim is that the student should be able to use Swedish in everyday situations. During the course, we will also focus on the culture and society so the student will acquire a basic knowledge about Sweden.

We offer the courses on two campuses: Sundsvall and Östersund. 

Teaching comprises for example lectures, lessons, group exercises. At the end of the course, there will be exams and the oral proficiency will be continuously assessed during the lessons.

Application

The course is intended for international students studying at Mid Sweden University. International studentsregistered on a course/programme at Mid Sweden University can apply for the courses.
